This study examines the role of strategic planning in promoting sustainable rural
development within Caritas Ngong. It evaluates the strategic planning practices adopted,
the sustainable development strategies implemented, and their overall impact on rural
development. The research employs qualitative and quantitative methodologies,
including interviews, surveys, and document analysis, to collect data from key
stakeholders. Findings indicate that effective strategic planning enhances resource
allocation, stakeholder engagement, and project sustainability. The study concludes by
recommending improved planning frameworks and policy interventions to optimize rural
development outcomes.
